1) Balakrishna comes to the rescue of BABU:
Mr. Balakrishna denied the charge that his father was back-stabbed by Chandrababu Naidu to grab the Chief Minister’s gaddi. “Everybody felt bad but the situation warranted a tough decision. My father was under the influence of evil and he was being cornered,” he recalled. He further said NTR and Mr. Chandrababu Naidu were the two persons who inspired him in politics. He was campaigning for the TDP to keep his father’s legacy alive even though he did not intend to be actively involved in politics. “I am ready to do anything such as contesting the Assembly poll or heading the party and even taking up a ministerial position, but only if the party considered it appropriate,” he said.
2) Make Congress bite dust, Balayya tells people: Telugu Desam’s star campaigner and actor Nandamuri Balakrishna urged people to maintain the same spirit until the Congress bites the dust in ensuing elections.
